Suburban Birding at Farrell Park

Green Mountain Audubon returns to Farrell Park to highlight the number and diversity of birds living close to a suburban community along an accessible paved pathway.

After meeting in the parking area just off Swift Street, we will travel along a well-used trail, that meanders through deciduous forest and along open fields, providing the opportunity to observe a variety of species. Maybe if we are lucky, we will again see the owls observed there last year! The pathway that we will take is paved, relatively smooth with some gradual inclines. Portable restroom facilities are available at the site. To ensure an enjoyable birding experience, this trip is limited to 20 participants. Registration for this outing will open on June 3.
